In this week's blog, we will talk about the most popular slang in Indonesia and Malaysia. Some of you might ask WHAT IS SLANG???
Well, slang is an informal way of expressing language that is commonly used among youngsters for chatting face to face and even online. Nowadays, slang is the most basic language that everyone should know, if not people will said you are out-dated!!

In this challenge, each of them will guess the top 10 slang of Indonesia and Malaysia. Indonesia
1. Mager - Means Lazy
2. Bhay - Means Bye Bye
3. Biyasak - Biasa (in Bahasa Indonesia), means normal or usually
4. Cekidot- Short form of Check it out!!
5. Ciyus - Means Serious
6. Dikit - Short form of sedikit (in Bahasa Indonesia), means little or less.
7. Gaje - Short form of gak jelas (in Bahasa Indonesia), means not clear and usually use for people are very confusing
8. Cepu - Means someone who can't keep secret
9. Jayus - Means a joke but it is not funny
10. Woles - Means don’t worry or take it easy
Malaysia
1. Potong Steam- Means you have done something awesome, but someone does or says
something to ruin the mood
2. Banana - Means Chinese
who can only speak English
3. Aiseh - Means to express feeling of dissatisfaction
4. Kantoi - Means
to get caught
5. Pokai - Means
broke, but some people used it as bad word
6. Syok - Used
when you’re so satisfied with something
7. Bek Cek - It’s
used to express frustration
8. Abuden - Something like IF NOT? A
sarcastic remark used for people who state the obvious
9. Gostan - Means
reverse, normally used when people want to reverse the car,
10. Macha - Tamil
slang for brother or friend
There might be some slang words which you have never heard before or you feel that it is not popular. But, just take it as you are learning a new slang lo 😄
